What this page actually is
Steward is currently a pre-launch prototype. It does not have a server, a database, or any way to send your information anywhere. A full Privacy Policy — reviewed properly — will be published before Steward launches publicly. Until then, here's the honest, plain-language version of what happens with anything you type into this site.
Where your data actually goes
Everything you enter — your profile, your saved favorites, a "Get Listed" submission, a message on the Contact page — is saved only in your web browser's local storage, on your own device. None of it is transmitted to a server, because this prototype doesn't have one. Clearing your browser data or using a different device or browser will erase it.
What happens when Steward launches
A real version of Steward will need a real Privacy Policy covering how listing and account data is stored, who can see it, and how it's used — especially once accounts, listings, and reviews involve other people. We'll publish that here, and it'll replace this page, before that happens.
