A marketplace built on faith.

Steward exists to help Orthodox Christians find and support businesses, professionals, and organizations who share their faith — and to help Orthodox-owned businesses and parishes be found.

Why we're building this

We believe trust compounds inside a shared community. A directory rooted in a specific, verifiable identity — canonical Orthodox Christianity — is more valuable than a broad, loosely-defined label. When you hire an Orthodox contractor, order from an Orthodox coffee roaster three states away, or support a parish's mission fund, you're doing more than making a purchase. You're strengthening the community that raised you, or the one you chose.

Steward isn't just a listings site. It's a foundation for that kind of intentional economic support — Orthodox Christians finding and choosing each other, on purpose, every day.

Who Steward serves

Our faith line

Steward's scope is canonical Eastern Orthodox Christianity — communion with the historic Eastern Orthodox Church and the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed. In practice, that means listings affiliated with jurisdictions in communion with the wider Eastern Orthodox Church.

This is a working line, not finished doctrine. We hold it carefully, and we expect to refine it — with input from clergy — as real questions come up.

Where we are today

Steward is pre-launch. What you're looking at is a working prototype, not a finished product — no live payments, no live reviews, and every listing is reviewed by a real person before it goes public. We're building this a few hours a week, starting with our very first listings.
